  • DESCRIPTION: Clean Pro Rust Converter is a liquid, water-thin metal surface preparation, when applied to rusted metal, changes the rust into amorphous iron phosphate. This produces a hard, grayish surface that serves as a solid base for primers and paints to firmly adhere to.

  • CONSISTENCY: Smooth liquid
  • USAGE: Rust converter works best on rust that is HEAVY. This would be scaly rust that has begun pitting the surface and has covered all of the metal.
  • DIRECTION: Rusted Surface Application: Remove loose rust and scale particles by wire brushing or sanding paper. Apply Clean Pro Rust Converter by brush, drip, spray or swab on surface. Polish and clean the surface thoroughly. Apply primer if surface will be painted.
  • For heavy rust surface application: Spray or swab remaining rust and scale particles and let it soak overnight or for 24 hours. Clean the surfaces thoroughly to remove dirt, dust and grease with Clean Pro Genuine Microfiber. Polish and clean the surface thoroughly. Apply primer if surface will be painted. Keep out of Children's reach.
